(The starting point)

　サンチャゴ巡礼の道は一本ではない。スペイン北西部ガリシア地方にある聖地サンチャゴ・デ・コンポステーラ を中心に、ヨーロッパ中に広がっている。毎日それぞれの道をそれぞれの人が歩き、そしてサンチャゴへと集まるのだ。 スタート地点は特に決められていない。ノルウェーの自宅を出発点にして一年かけて歩いてきた、なんていう人も いた。
　私が出発点に選んだのは、有名な出発点の一つ、フランス南西部に位置するサンジャン・ピエ・ ド・ポート。目的地サンチャゴまでは約800km……町の古城からは明日登るピレネー山脈が遠くに見えた。 　写真は巡礼中に見かけた石の十字架。

The way of Camino is not only one, there are many ways whitch radiate out from Santiago de Compostela on Europa. Many person walk each way and gather to Santiago. The starting point is not particuraly decided. One strong men decided starting point on his hous and walking 1year from Norway to Santiago.
The starting point whitch I deceided is St.Jean.Pied.de.Port whitch is one of the famous town as starting point.The distance from St.Jean to Santiago is about 800km. I coud see the Pyrenees from the old castle...... The photograph is stone cross whtch I saw on one way.
